About us
Empowering Talent. Supporting Healthcare. Transforming Lives.
At SecondChance Workforce Solutions, we believe in the power of opportunity – both for individuals seeking meaningful work and for healthcare organizations in need of compassionate, dependable staff.
Headquartered in Minnesota, we are a dual – structured organization with one mission: to bridge the gap between underrepresented talent and the healthcare employers who need them most.
OUR STORY
Where Second Chances Meet New Beginnings
SecondChance Workforce Solutions was founded with a simple, powerful mission: to bridge the gap between overlooked talent and essential healthcare opportunities.
Born from a deep understanding of the barriers that individuals with minor past blemishes face, our organization was created to champion those who are ready to move forward—but need someone willing to open the door. We believe a person’s past should not define their future, especially when they have the skills, heart, and drive to serve others.
What started as a small pilot program has grown into a two-part powerhouse:
• Our nonprofit arm funds job readiness training, holistic support services, expungement resources, and financial empowerment programs.
• Our for-profit staffing agency focuses on direct placement and contract staffing for Minnesota’s healthcare organizations—bringing trusted talent into roles like CNAs, MAs, LPNs, caregivers, medical coders, and nurses.
We proudly serve both the general public and individuals with minor offenses dating back 6–10 years, many of whom are now eligible for expungement. Our goal remains constant: to empower individuals to reclaim their futures while helping healthcare employers build stronger, more compassionate teams.
At SecondChance Workforce Solutions, we don’t just find jobs—we help create life-changing opportunities for the people and communities we serve.
Because everyone deserves the chance to build something better.
Our Focus
We specialize in placing qualified candidates into high-demand healthcare roles, including:
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Medical Assistants (MAs)
• Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
• Registered Nurses (RNs)
• Home Health Aides & Caregivers
• Medical Coders
• Other essential healthcare support roles
We serve nursing homes, assisted living communities, group homes, and hospitals across Minnesota, offering both direct-hire and temporary/contract placements tailored to your staffing needs.
Who We Serve
We work with a wide range of job seekers—from the general public to individuals with minor, non-violent criminal records dating back 6–10 years. These records are often eligible for expungement, and we’re proud to walk alongside these individuals as they reclaim their future.
Our job seekers are pre-screened, job-ready, and equipped with training and support to thrive in the healthcare industry.
